This Alzheimer's unit addition involved adding eight semi-private rooms, four private rooms and living areas to the county-owned medical care facility in Sandusky. The living areas included kitchens, dining rooms, laundry facilities, a garden area and quiet room. The new construction covered 3,100 square feet and an additional 5,600 square feet of the existing facility was renovated as part of the project.
