The concept of a consolidated court for Ingham County as illustrated was adopted by Ingham County and the City of Lansing. The plan calls for an addition of 99,000 square feet of space to the existing 98,000 square foot Grady Porter building. The expanded building houses Circuit Court, Family Courts and Probate Courts as well as court-related functions.
