National City Bank officials wanted their new regional bank building to have a visual impact from the busy five-lane road which it faces. The site, located in front of a large shopping area, was challenging because of its size and surrounding parking lots. Brick prefinished fascia systems and reflective glass were chosen as a contrast to the massive "strip mall" architecture in the background.
